We Design Beirut

We Design Beirut Edition 03 returns from May 26–30, 2027, bringing together exhibitions, installations, talks, tours, workshops, and open studios across Beirut’s heritage sites and reactivated spaces. Open to the public and free of charge, the event connects designers, artisans, architects, and students across product design, interior design, architecture, and craft, fostering regional and international exchange while positioning Beirut within the global design conversation. We Design Beirut contributes to a growing design ecosystem that encourages exchange, creative dialogue, and ongoing cultural momentum.

MARIANA WEHBE

FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Mariana Wehbe is the Founder & Creative Director of We Design Beirut, an independent platform dedicated to advancing design, craftsmanship and cultural exchange across Lebanon and the wider Mediterranean region. She is also the Founder & Director of MWPR, a consultancy specialising in design, architecture, culture and the creative industries. Since 2018, she has dedicated her work to advancing design, art and culture, believing these disciplines are essential to preserving heritage, empowering creative communities and shaping Lebanon's future. A regular speaker on design and culture, Mariana has served on the jury of the Institut du Monde Arabe Design Award. She believes that culture is not an accessory to a city's identity, but one of its most powerful tools for social, economic and civic renewal.
