Skin of A City

Opening Hours11AM—9PM

This exhibition brings together Lebanese photographers Patrick Baz and Anthony Saroufim (Les Indisciplinés), whose generational and artistic differences are bridged by shared themes. While rooted in a country marked by violence and instability, their work explores intimacy, transformation, and healing.

Their photography moves beyond documenting Lebanon’s turmoil. Instead, it reveals “life impulses,” using the body as both medium and message. In a society where sensuality and sexuality remain taboo, their images confront censorship and challenge political and religious norms.Through distinct visual languages, Baz and Saroufim explore desire, fantasy, and tension. Not to provoke, but to invite reflection. Their work offers a raw, contemporary portrait of Lebanon that dares to liberate both speech and body in the face of repression.
